1. As per Para 8 of GS Branch , Inf-6 (Pers) letter No. A/00520/6th CPC/Inf-6 (Pers) dt 20 Jun 2011, if one completes 8 years of service in the same rank, he would be provided MACP. This order has been operational with effect from Sep 2008 thereby culminating in ridiculous separation for those who retired earlier to Sep 2008. Such implication has made a difference of almost Rs 2000 in pension. Those who retired after Sep 2008 are getting higher pension then those who retired earlier to Sep 2008.
2. I have served wef 1997 to 2007 in the same rank i.e Hav and such order of MACP being operational from Sep 2008 has bereft me of such necessary financial benefits of service as well as pensionery benefits.
3. Such issues need to be addressed at the earliest possible to avoid aberrance amongst the veterans.
